Children from underprivileged families face multiple problems like lac of scope for education, good environment for healthy grow up, malnutrition, child abuse to name a few.

We from Santoshpur Padakshep, with our limited capabilities undertook some of the various jobs for their welfare since our inception in 2020.

RECENT ACTIVITIES: –

15.08.2024- Santoshpur Padakshep arranged a sit & draw competition to motivate the local children. Gifts & refreshments were given to the participants. The program evoked encouraging response.

23.02.2024- Helped two children to get admitted in a school and purchase textbooks.

08.02.2024- visited the orphanage “Shaishab’ & arranged the lunch for the children.

20.01.2024- Arranged sports of the students at Paschim Gabtala School near Kultali. All the participants were given gifts and refreshments. School sweaters also provided to the students [Around 40] who have enrolled afresh and didn’t get it earlier. Teachers have been honoured for their noble jobs. Later, 3 ceiling fans and wooden benches also given to this school.

17.10.2023- “Roddur” is an NGO under aegis of St. Paul’s College have around 25 street children as students. This is some sort of tutorial classes to help the students in studies. We gifted them new dresses and refreshments.

15.10.2023- On the eve of Durga puja, we have gifted new dresses to 85 children/students at Raj Bhaban Free Primary School near Raj Bhaban. They all are pavements and slum dwellers.

20.07.2023- Voice of World, Barisha houses 30 difficultly abled children. There we have provided bed sheets, ceiling fans, pressure cooker and refreshments.
